Based on the very popular ‘couch to 5k’ running course, I offer an individual 10-week programme aimed at anyone that doesn’t know where to start with running or those that are returning to exercise after a long break in training.
But unlike other C25k, this is an individual programme; therefore we will be running at times and locations that are convenient for you. Also as this is individual to you; you are able to subscribe and start the programme at any time, as well as being able to progress at your own pace.
During the ten weeks you will not only improve your fitness and become a capable runner, but you will also learn about how to warm up properly before your run and stretch afterwards. Both being important to ensure you get the best from your running as well as avoiding running related ‘injuries’ that you might have heard about.
To get stared all you need is a suitable pair of running trainers (do not have to be expensive and I can offer advice if needed) and of course bags of enthusiasm.
At the end of the program we will mark your achievement by completing your first Park Run (a free, fun and inclusive nationwide events that are exactly 5k).
